POWER-POLE RANKINGS WEEK 15: WIDE RECEIVERS

WEEK 15 WIDE RECIEVERS:
This week's power-pole rankings come with some big boom or bust candidates in the top-10, biggest of which are Demaryius Thomas, Julio Jones, Emmanuel Sanders and Randall Cobb. Let's start with the two Broncos on the list, Thomas and Sanders, and honestly we all know what it comes down to, Peyton Freakin Manning! The Broncos have been winning recently, but Manning seems to be used less and less each game, with the Broncos slowly but surely shifting to a more run heavy offense with C.J. Anderson playing so...
well. With this being the case, the Broncos receiving corps has seen a huge drop in targets leading to an equally large dip in fantasy point production for each. Thomas produced a mere 2 points last weekend for fantasy owners, with Sanders fairing better with around 9 points depending on your league settings. The Chargers should pose a worthy opponent for the Broncos, so they might be forced to throw throughout the game and often, making Thomas and Sanders medium floor very high ceiling plays, which is why they are risky top-10 plays this week. Next up is Julio Jones, who is only a risky play due to his injury. As of Friday he was still not practising, drawing his ability to start Sunday highly into question. If he can practise in full Saturday and remain healthy for Sunday, look for him to be a huge factor, but be prepared for him to be sidelined due to his injury. Last up in our risky business receivers, we have Randall Cobb, who has all the talent, but no targets! Aaron Rodgers' numero uno is obviously Jordy Nelson, and after him we have Eddy Lacy as his ever faithful check-down man, but then all hell breaks loose. Rodgers and the Packers love to spread the ball around and Cobb's fantasy numbers unfortunately suffer. It's great real football strategy, but one of those cases that really sucks for fantasy owners. Cobb has a medium floor of around 7-8 points but also has a medium ceiling of around 11-12 points. Start him with confidence, but don't expect a huge performance, and in the playoffs, we all want HUGE games! As for the rest, well just look down, hopefully you can find your answer among the writing on the wall...Goodluck in your playoffs and May The Fantasy Gods Forever Be In Your Favour ;)
