POWER-POLE RANKINGS WEEK 10: KICKERS

TOP 8 KICKERS
1. Dan Bailey
2. Justin Tucker
3. Steven Hauschka
4. Cody Parkey
5. Graham Gano
6. Chandler Catanzaro
7. Phil Dawson
8. Mason Crosby

Kickers are pretty easy to rank, but that doesn't make them any less important to your Fantasy Squads. You always want to have a kicker on a team that ideally plays indoors more often then not, and also plays with a team that can move the ball down-field at a regular rate. This week we have Dan Bailey who easily makes his way to the top of our list. The Cowboys play the woeful Jaguars and even if Tony Romo doesn't play, with Murray running the ball, they will still move the ball down the field with relative ease. As an added bonus, they will be playing indoors in London, England.

POWER-POLE RANKINGS WEEK 10: DEFENSE

TOP 10 DEFENSES
1. Dallas
2. Pittsburgh
3. Seattle
4. Baltimore
5. Denver
6. Arizona
6. Kansas
8. Detroit
9. Eagles
10. Falcons

D-Fence!!! D-Fence!!! D-Fence!!!
Although widely overlooked, a good defensive team sitting at the bottom of your line-up will almost always play an important role in your fantasy teams eventual victory. Having the right defense slotted in often leads to rewards of 15+ points, and playing the right team is what we are here to help you with.
Dallas is the obvious number 1 this week as they have a strong secondary and are playing the interception prone Jaguars(Blake Bortles), moving on. The Steelers Defense has been rekindled of late with the bringing back of James Harrison, and are playing a weak Jets team lead by a fumble happy quarterback in Michael Vick. This combo makes them a dead lock for number 2 on are totem-pole. Seattle has been a shell of their former superbowl selves, but this could be the week the defense really turns things around. They have a very tasty matchup against a pick happy Eli Manning and the fumble-diseased Giants, securing them solidly in 3rd in our week 10 rankings. The Eagles are this weeks sleeper pick, as they are prone to giving up an average of 20 points a game to opposing offenses, rendering them pretty useless for fantasy purposes. However, the Eagles special teams have been saving them over the last few weeks, with multiple blocked kicks, punt returns for touchdowns, fumbles and pick 6's. The Eagles ability to gain points from special teams makes them a candidate to bust-out and score 15-20 fantasy points on any given week.

POWER-POLE RANKINGS WEEK 10: TIGHT-ENDS

TOP 15 TIGHT-ENDS
1. Jimmy Graham
2. Julius Thomas
3. Martellus Bennett
4. Greg Olsen
5. Travis Kelce
6. Heath Miller
7. Jason Witten
8. Owen Daniels
9. Charles Clay
10. Mychal Rivera
11. Vernon Davis
12. Delanie Walker
13. Larry Donnel
14. Clay Harbor
15. Zach Ertz

Now on to the ball spiking, goal post dunking Tight-Ends, and boy has this been a tough position so far this season. Every week we seem to have a new player that leads all other Tight-Ends in scoring, making it seemingly impossible to make a good rankings list. However, Jimmy Graham seems to rise to the top of the pile week after week, and it seems as though Drew Brees has finally found his feet and is throwing much more consistently. Look for Graham to score at least 15 points in standard scoring leagues this week against a debilitated 49ers defense. Coming in at a shaky 2nd on our totem-pole, we have the touchdown dependent Julius Thomas. So good the first 3 weeks, his weekly point total relies heavily on Peyton throwing to him in the Endzone. Still, expect Manning to hit his favourite Redzone target at least once for touchdown. Rounding out the top 3 you have Martellus Bennett, who should see plenty of targets in a match-up with the Packers that the Bears will most likely see themselves playing catch-up all game long. The player most likely to outproduce his initial rank is Delanie Walker. We can't really know what to expect in Tennessee these days, with the rookie Mettenburger under centre, Walker's targets could go either way. Walker might be used as Mettenburger's security blanket, soaking up 10+ targets in the flats, or Mettenburger could be entirely useless and throw three interceptions. Until we see more consistency, Walker will stay down at the bottom rungs of the ladder with possible high upside.

POWER-POLE RANKINGS WEEK 10: RUNNING BACKS

TOP 20 RUNNING BACKS
1. Demarco Murray
2. Marshawn Lynch
3. Matt Forte
4. Le’Veon Bell
5. Jamaal Charles
6. Eddy Lacy
7. Mark Ingram
8. LeSean McCoy
9. Andre Ellington
10. Lamar Miller
11. Ronnie Hillman
12. Justin Forsett
13. Denard Robinson
14. Bobby Rainey
15. Chris Ivory
16. Darren McFadden
17. Frank Gore
18. Tre Mason
19. Joique Bell
20. Boobie Dixon

RUN FOREST RUN
Sitting atop our week 10 totem-pole is Demarco Murray, I mean, how could he not be?!? Romo is probable to start, but don't let that scare you of the Murray bandwagon. The Cowboys are going to be using the run game even more then usual, and Murray should easily top 100 yards once again and hit pay dirt at least once. Matt Forte and Marshawn Lynch have both been fantasy beasts this season, but based on the matchups, Lynch is definately the better bet this week. Seattle should go up on the Giants and use Lynch to score and run out the lock, where as the Bears have looked lost and confused on offence the last few weeks. Frank Gore is an intriguing play, as he has the talent to be a top tier back, and the 49ers offensive line is more than capable on paper, of opening up holes. Now that the team has publicly announced that they are going to be getting Gore the ball more, he might be grossly undervalued this week, but only time will tell. Tre Mason is the other really interesting bottom of the barrel back. He has such explosive running talent, and seems able to find holes where none really exist. However he can't catch a cold, let alone a pass, and therefore is not used at all in the throwing game, hindering his fantasy value. His case isn't helped by the three-headed work horse that the Rams coaches seem to love using at running back. He could be a top 10 running back in a few weeks, but until the backfield situation is sorted out in St. Louis, I can't with good conscience rank him any higher.
